Be That Body Limited reports that it's sales performance has continued to surge forward. Sales are up 250% on the same period last year and the company has reported that there has been no noticeable down turn during the traditionally quieter quarter to the end of August despite the dismal weather.
So what does the company attribute to it's continuing success? Is it just about desirable brands like USA PRO, Seafolly and Millie Fox, or is there something more? We asked MD Graham Richards and this is what he told us:
" There are many factors which contribute to a company's success but for me it is all about the customer. The depth and breadth of ranges of clothing that we stock are obviously important but nothing is more important than building trust with the customer. We communicate with our customers from the moment an order is placed and continue to keep them advised as the order progresses to dispatch. We always dispatch in line with our same day noon order deadline although quite often orders received later than this get dispatched the same day. If the item says " in stock" on the site it means just that, we never claim to have items which are not available immediately unless it specifically says so. It's all about exceeding customer expectations"
Indeed it is clear that bethatbody.com is a successful internet retailing company with repeat customer ordering ratios in the top quartile for the industry. Customers clearly like what they get as this delighted customer testifies:
I just want you to know that I am so impressed with the service received from be that body, and I'm generally quite hard to impress. I placed my order on Monday night and the item with was with me on Wednesday, and I didn't even pay for delivery (plus I love it!). I simultaneously ordered a pair of trousers from XXXXX XXXXX and I paid £4 for delivery. I have not even had an email from them, the order is still in progress and they can't tell me when it will arrive.
