Nike is without doubt the most well known brand in the entire Universe! But did you know that Nike is the name of the Greek Goddess of Victory? The logo or the ‘Swoosh’ as it is called is now equally recognized and when it appears on it’s own we all instantly know what it relates to. Hard to believe that the most famous logo in the world was designed by an art student who charged the princely sum of $35 for it’s design!

The very first Nike trainers went on sale in America in 1972 bringing with them a totally different ethos to the way sports shoes or trainers were perceived. Nike continue in breaking barriers and coming up with ground breaking innovative designs that leave other companies trailing in their wake.
